ACK Comics

Indian stories in digital comic form

ACK Comics is a digital comic library from AMAR CHITRA KATHA PRIVATE LIMITED. It brings Amar Chitra Katha titles to phones and tablets, with stories drawn from Indian mythology, history, folklore and biographies. It may suit readers looking for illustrated introductions to these subjects, as well as people revisiting comics they know from print.

Browse and read

The app offers more than 300 titles to explore. Readers can choose individual comics or use subscription plans to access content. The catalogue is presented as a digital storefront, with cover art helping readers browse. A shared account can provide access across Android devices, and the app includes a help section for questions about using it.

What to consider

The subject matter gives the catalogue a clear focus: this is a place for Amar Chitra Katha comics, rather than a general-purpose comic reader. That makes it easier to know what kind of stories to expect, but readers seeking other publishers or genres may need a different app. The available rating is 3.09 out of 5 from 1,727 ratings, so reader feedback is mixed. Consider that alongside the app’s specific collection when deciding whether it fits your interests.
