Timemark: Photo Proof

A camera for records, not just pictures

Timemark: Photo Proof is a photography app for capturing images with information such as the time and location shown on the photo. It suits people who need a visual record of a visit, job, delivery or site condition, as well as anyone who wants context attached to a picture without adding it later by hand.

What it adds to a photo

The app can place details such as timestamps, GPS location, weather, notes and branding on images. Templates for work settings including construction, security and logistics help users capture information in a consistent format. This makes Timemark more focused on documentation than on filters or social sharing.

For people who need to send records elsewhere, the reference information lists exports in formats including PDF, Excel and KMZ, along with cloud syncing. Offline use is also described, which may be useful when taking pictures in areas with limited connectivity. The exact options available can depend on how the app is configured and the device being used.

Who may find it useful

Timemark is aimed at practical, repeatable photo capture: recording work progress, noting where an image was taken, or adding a company mark and project details to a picture. It is less suited to someone looking mainly for creative camera effects or a general photo-editing toolkit. Before relying on its overlays as formal evidence, check that the information shown meets the requirements of the job or organization.

At a glance

The app has a 4.8-star rating from 577,949 ratings and more than 10 million installs. Those figures offer a quick sense of its reach and user response, but whether its documentation tools fit your needs is for you to decide.
